I love your curtains. We have the same blog background. I love it. I also bet Rachel had a great time throwing confetti off of your cat walk. I guess we were cheering for the steelers. Jack has always been a steelers fan. I really did not care. I am not a fan of either team. Hope you have fun cleaning up your mess!!!!!

I like your curtains! I think that is cool that Rachel threw confetti off the catty patty walk! We ate a lot of our superbowl food, but we had leftovers. I was really hoping AZ would pull off a win. It was a good game anyway. Morgan looks good on the court!
Rachel finished her soccer season today. She scored a goal today to top off her season. It was a fun season, especially the two games her dad coached. (The only 2 games they won.) He is quite proud of his record! Doug is a really good soccer coach and had the kids playing positions so well.
We have finished 2 weeks of teaching and have already developed such a love for our students. Here are some of our favorite stories: For my writing classes I prepared a PowerPoint lesson on sentence structure. In class we were discussing complete sentences vs. fragments. One of the students said, “This example is not a fragment. It is imperative.” Me: "We will discuss this later during the semester.” I had no idea what he was talking about! So, I have spent some time this week reviewing grammar rules. We are loving our food experiences more and more. We love going to the cafeteria with a couple of students and telling them to order something for us. Every time it has been so much better than when we choose. We tell them we like everything, but not too spicy for me. My favorite so far is an eggplant/meat dish cooked in a ceramic pot with crispy rice. One of Doug's favorite...
